This Best 5 Days Tanzania Safari 2026–2027 is a perfect wildlife adventure through some of the most famous national parks in Tanzania. The journey takes you to Tarangire National Park, the endless plains of Serengeti National Park, and the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater. During this safari you will experience incredible wildlife viewing including elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and the spectacular wildebeest migration depending on the season. The tour begins from Arusha and ends in Arusha or Moshi after an unforgettable wildlife experience in Tanzania’s top safari destinations.

Day 1 Arusha to Tarangire National Park to Mto wa Mbu

After breakfast, depart from Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park for a full day game drive. Tarangire is well known for its large herds of elephants, ancient baobab trees, and diverse wildlife that gathers along the Tarangire River, especially during the dry season. During the game drive you may see elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, warthogs, and many bird species. In the late afternoon, drive to Mto wa Mbu for dinner and overnight stay. Day 2 Mto wa Mbu to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park through the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands. Along the way, enjoy breathtaking views of the Ngorongoro Crater before continuing to the vast plains of Serengeti. Serengeti is one of Africa’s most famous wildlife destinations and home to the Great Wildebeest Migration and a large population of predators including lions, cheetahs, and leopards. Enjoy a game drive on arrival before heading to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay. Day 3 Serengeti National Park

Spend a full day exploring the endless plains of Serengeti National Park. Your professional safari guide will take you to the best wildlife viewing areas where you can witness a wide variety of animals including lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, and many antelope species. Depending on the season, you may also witness the spectacular Great Wildebeest Migration. Enjoy game drives throughout the day before returning to your camp or lodge for dinner and overnight stay. Day 4 Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in Serengeti before departing towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way you will have more opportunities to spot wildlife such as zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, elephants, and predators including lions and hyenas. The drive offers beautiful landscapes and wildlife sightings across the savannah plains. In the evening arrive at the Ngorongoro Crater rim or nearby Karatu town for dinner and overnight stay. Day 5 Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

Early in the morning descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a spectacular game drive. The crater is one of the best wildlife viewing locations in Africa and is home to a large concentration of animals including elephants, lions, buffaloes, zebras, hippos, and the rare black rhino. Enjoy several hours of wildlife viewing on the crater floor before ascending the crater rim and driving back to Arusha where the safari ends.
