Overview of 6 days Marangu route Climbing Kilimanjaro Packages
Incredible 6-day Marangu route Packages for climbing Mount Kilimanjaro using Best Buy Safaris. The oldest and most well-known way up Kilimanjaro is the Marangu path, sometimes referred to as the "Coca-Cola" route. The only route that provides sleeping hut and dormitory-style lodging in place of camping is this one. At Mandara and Kibo Huts, there are 60 bunk beds each, while Horombo Hut has 120 bunk beds. Although beds and pillows are provided, sleeping bags are still necessary. The huts contain shared dining areas and simple restrooms, ranging from long drop toilets and buckets of water at Kibo Hut to flushing toilets and running water at the lower huts.
Marangu is preferred by many because, due to its mild slope and straightforward trail, it is thought to be the simplest path on the mountain. However, the route's short duration makes altitude adaptation quite challenging. Mount Kilimanjaro is approached via the route from the southeast. Due to the ascent and descent being on the same route, Marangu is regrettably less picturesque than the other routes. Due to this, it is also the busiest route.
