One week (7 days) in Zanzibar & Tanzania safari 2026, 2027, and 2028 itinerary

Day 1: Arusha to Serengeti National Park

We'll leave Arusha early in the morning and take a road close to Ngorongoro Crater's rim to Serengeti National Park. You'll find it much simpler to realize why the Serengeti is one of Africa's Seven Natural Wonders thanks to the golden savannah and endless plains teaming with zebras, wildebeest, and giraffes. Lunch will be a picnic on Naabai kopje (a small, rocky hill in a generally flat area). We will go deeper into the plains for a leisurely game drive after lunch. At the Serengeti, you will spend the night.

Day 2: Serengeti National Park

The day will begin at the Serengeti's center. Because the wildlife in the Serengeti is so diverse, you'll probably get to see lions, leopards, elephants, cheetahs, water buffalo, zebras, and wildebeest. Additionally, the park is home to elands, hyenas, gazelles, crocodiles, giraffes, zebras, monkeys, baboons, hippos, rhinos, and antelopes. A wonderful dinner will be provided after the game drive.

Day 3: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

Today is the final day of the Serengeti game drive before we travel to Ngorongoro Crater. We will go to the Crater after a fantastic game drive with plenty of wildlife sightings and a picnic lunch. We will spend the evening there, looking out into Ngorongoro Crater's uninterrupted caldera. You will enjoy a delicious dinner that our cook will prepare for you after a long day of exploration.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

We'll continue the game drive to Ngorongoro Crater after an early morning breakfast because that's when animals are most likely to be spotted there. On this particular day, we'll take a game drive around the crater and pause for a picnic lunch by a tiny lake inside the park. You will love the lake because it is a haven for migratory birds and many hippos. There is a great likelihood of seeing every one of "The Big 5" because of the animal "oasis" generated within the crater. You can see the frolicking zebra, stumbling hippo, scurrying wildebeest, and giggling hyenas inside the magnificent crater. We will finally begin our trip back to Arusha after a beautiful afternoon spent spotting animals.

Day 5: Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport to Zanzibar

After landing in Zanzibar Island, our driver guide will pick you up and take you to the hotel. Check in and get time to relax in your hotel in Zanzibar.

Day 6: Zanzibar Stone Town & Spice tour

After breakfast, the guide will pick you up for the Zanzibar spice tour. You will visit spice farms in Zanzibar, and after lunch, you will go on the Zanzibar Stone Town city tour.

Day 7: Departure day

This is the last day for your one week(7 days) in Zanzibar beach. Get breakfast, free time and then transferred to airport.
